  • The Simulation Center at Carolinas College of Health Sciences is home to the new "Procedural Simulation Suite," which includes virtual reality procedural simulators like the intravenous simulator, lumbar puncture trainer, laparoscopic surgery simulator, birthing simulator, and more.


  • Chartered by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Kettering College of Medical Arts in Dayton, Ohio, observes the biblical Sabbath from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday. The college's 2008 commencement of 294 students marks the third straight record-setting graduation class.
