School of Criminal Justice
The Associate of Science in Criminal Justice degree program can help prepare students to enter the criminal justice profession in a variety of first-tier positions. Students are exposed to the foundational areas of the discipline: investigation and law enforcement, law and courts, and corrections and parole. The program also addresses juvenile delinquency and the juvenile justice system. The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree program helps prepare students for a wide variety of career opportunities in law enforcement, corrections, the court systems and security by providing in-depth criminal justice knowledge in addition to strong business and management skills appropriate to the industry. The Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Criminal Justice is designed to help prepare students to pursue positions of leadership in criminal justice systems. The degree program addresses such topics as homeland security, law enforcement management, and public administration.
School of HealthCare Management
The Associate of Science Degree in Medical Billing and Coding addresses the foundations of medical billing and coding in a number of courses covering coding, medical terminology, disease processes, health care organizations and management. The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program provides concentrations in Network Management, Security, and Software Systems Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology helps prepare graduates to take advantage of the continuing need for highly trained IT professionals. The Master of Science in Management with concentrations in Information Systems Security or Information Technology Management is available to graduate-level students.
Executive-Format Degree Programs - Online with Residential Sessions
CTU Institute for Advanced Studies recognizes that most our students are working professionals with busy lives and many competing responsibilities. That's why we have developed an innovative format and options that allow students to earn their degrees when it is most convenient for them.
All programs at CTU-IAS are offered in the executive format. Students come together for residencies and then continue to work together online between residencies. For the doctoral programs, there are nine residencies, three per year for three years. Each residency lasts 3 ½ days. Doctoral residencies are held in Colorado Springs. For the Masters' programs, there are five residencies, one per quarter for five quarters. Each residency lasts 2 ½ days. Masters' residencies are held in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
