| VanderCook College of Music is the only independent American college dedicated solely to music education, and 95% of graduates find jobs in music education within a year of earning their degree.

McNally Smith College of Music recently hosted GRAMMY Career Day, presented by the Gibson Foundation. This is a day when high school students can meet with industry professionals to learn about the music business.
Students in Music Composition at UCSB's College of Creative Studies can take non-traditional music courses like "Interactive Computer Music and Synthesizer Design," "Seeing Music, Hearing Art" and alternative musical tuning systems.
