Preparing for Sport Sciences and Physical Education School
If you are considering going to school for sport sciences and physical education, your post-secondary planning process should begin as early as high school. Sport sciences and physical education programs can be competitive and are rigorous; therefore, it's important to plan your high school courses accordingly. The kind of program you hope to take will determine what you should have on your high school transcript. Because many of these are science-based programs, you will want to take courses in biology, chemistry, physics and math to ensure that you are well prepared for the schools and programs that make your list. Communication skills are always important in health-related fields, so don't forget your English and speech/communications classes!
