Program Overview |
It's never business as usual in the University of New Brunswick's (UNB) MBA program. By building a solid foundation in management skills and through customized professional tracks, UNB students' business careers get the boost they need to get ahead in an extremely competitive workplace. UNB helps develop and sharpen students' managerial and leadership skills with valuable hands-on experience. During year one students take accounting, marketing, business data analysis, organization studies, finance, corporate governance and law, MIS, systems and operations management, and professional development. In year two students take strategy, integrative studies(or an internship) and electives.

- In 2009 two UNB MBA students won 1st prize in Canada's Next Ad Executive Competition
- In 2008 UNB SIF students won 1st prize in the North American Global Investment Research Challenge in New York City (they won 2nd place in the Global round)

- UNB's Harriet Irving Library houses a Starbucks Learning Commons, several smart group rooms and study carrels for graduate students
- The Graduate Student Association is housed in Windsor House, once home to the former poet laureate and writer in residence, Alden Nowlan. This facility houses study space, a bar, and GSA offices
